Match Report
|
| |
Stainborough recorded a third successive
victory with an easy win over Silkstone.
Silkstone struggled against accurate bowling
with only L. Whitmore (12) making any progress.
Jack Lally 3-4, Alex Bamford 2-2 and Peter
Kaskiewicz 2-3 kept the Silkstone innings
under control. However, Stainborough were
unable to bowl out the home team inside
their 20 overs.
Despite losing an early wicket, Ben Armitage
(27) and Jack Lally (11 n.o.) looked at
ease in hitting the required runs. The target
was achieved inside 15 overs and ensured
the game was completed just before the heavy
rain arrived.
