Match Report
|
| |
Higham batted first with J. Fearnley (13)
making good progress. However, a regular
fall of wickets kept the score in check.
Josh Rennison (2-2), Jacob Brookes-Ashton
(1-2) off 3 overs and Douglas Riley (1-6)
off 3 overs, bowled particularly well. Only
an innings of 15 from A. Sakels pushed Higham
into a positive score.
Once again Stainborough batted sensibly
and lost only one wicket throughout the
innings. Peter Kaskiewicz (10 n.o.) and
Josh Abson (26 n.o.) put Stainborough in
control before a final partnership of 37
between Matthew Grimshaw (14 n.o.) and Josh
Rennison (15) sealed an emphatic victory.
