Stainborough made a cracking start with
E. Mann 14 n.o. and P. Kaskiewicz 7 n.o.
adding 25 for the first partnership. A.
Bamford 9 n.o. and M. Grimshaw 9 n.o. also
made good runs. Only D. Booth 2-8 had any
success with the bowl. The final score of
261 looked a competitive total.
Rockingham could not handle the tight bowling
and excellent fielding and never looked
like reaching their target. Only one bowler
failed to take a wicket which included four
well taken catches.
Rockingham could only reach 220 from their
allotted overs.

and speedy recovery to B. Brammer who had
to leave the field with a nasty head injury.
