Stainborough were beaten by a good Darton side in their league meeting.

Batting first, Stainborough made slow progress but the second partnership between Curtis Parker (12 n.o.) and Matthew Grimshaw (7 n.o.) added good runs. However, poor running between the wickets not only resulted in missed runs but also cost a couple of wickets. The final score of 232 meant that Stainborough had to be at their best to take anything from the game.
