Match Report
|
| |
Stainborough decided to field and made an
early break through with Josh Abson taking
1-6 from 3 excellent overs. Only T.Slack
(14 n.o.) made good progress for Worsborough
who were restricted by tight bowling from
Charlie Parker 2-10 and Matthew Grimshaw
1-7. A couple of run outs also ensured that
the Wosborough stayed at a respectable 230.
In reply the young Worsborough team found
it difficult and the extra's column began
to grow at a considerable rate. John Stones
top scored with 7 n.o. whilst Matthew Robson
were the pick of the bowlers taking 2-12.
Stainborough finished with a winning total
of 253.
