good start with Elliott Mann scoring 13
not out. Tight bowling and good fielding
restricted Stainborough to a net score of
just 238 going into the last 4 overs. However,
the Lally brothers scored well with Jack
14 n.o. and Connor 10 n.o. boosting the
final total to 263.
Elsecar lost early wickets in their reply
and never recovered. There were wickets
for E. Mann, J. Lally, C. Lally, J. Brooke-Ashton
and two for R. McInerny. Superb fielding
resulted in no less than 4 team catches
and a stumping by Josh Abson. Elsecar finished
66 runs short of their target with a net
score of 197.
