After being rained off last week, Stainborough
had a comfortable opening fixture of the
season by beating Whitely Bridge by 7 wickets.
Whitely Bridge took first knock and E.
Wilson (48) and G. Draper (43) helped them
to score 185, before they were dismissed
with 3 overs to spare. J. Celliers was the
pick of the Stainborough attack taking 5-21.
Stainborough made short work of achieving
their target. B. Londt (44) and A. Clarke
(85 n.o.) saw Stainborough home with still
16 overs remaining.
